1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Roast My Trades, operated by Shapes.io Ltd (company no. 12749052) ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Roast My Trades is an educational tool that uses AI to provide feedback on trading decisions. It is intended to help beginner traders reflect on their risk management and decision-making. The service is provided "as is" and is subject to change.

3. Not financial advice

Nothing on Roast My Trades constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. All AI-generated analysis is for educational and reflective purposes only. It does not take into account your personal financial circumstances, risk tolerance, or investment objectives. You should not make any trading or investment decisions based solely on feedback from this service. Past performance of any trade does not guarantee future results.

If you require financial advice, consult a qualified financial adviser authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or the equivalent regulatory body in your jurisdiction.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Roast My Trades. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. Notify us immediately at RoastMyTrades@shapes.io if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service at scale.
• Upload malicious files or content designed to disrupt the service.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
• Misrepresent the AI-generated analysis as professional financial advice to others.

7. Free tier and usage limits

Free accounts are limited to 3 AI analyses. We reserve the right to adjust this limit. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time via the billing portal, effective at the end of the current billing period.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the trade data you upload. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service (including sending it to the Gemini API for analysis). We do not claim ownership of your trade data and do not sell it.

9. Intellectual property

All software, design, branding, and content on Roast My Trades (excluding your trade data) is owned by Shapes.io Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the AI analysis will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shapes.io Ltd will not be liable for any trading losses, financial losses, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
